WiFi RFID used to track vehicles within a dealership

Described here. a joint venture involving Telefonica, Cisco and app developer Aeroscout, to deliver operational benefits to a Mercedes dealership in Valencia. No sustainability angle to this, which here is merely making the auto business more efficient in servicing customers. On the other hand, it’s not hard to imagine how the same technology could be used in ways that would promote greater efficiency in vehicle management – perhaps of shared vehicles. At least it’s nice to see an example of this sort of thing (which is discussed often) actually working.
